Belgian foreign policy is the responsibility of the Federal Authority.

However, each federated entity is responsible for international relations in domains for which it has legislative competence. In Wallonia, the Walloon Region, the French Community and the German-speaking Community are thus responsible for certain aspects of international relations, including the conclusion of treaties
